1. Product Overview
The multi-story steel frame is a structural system primarily composed of steel load-bearing components, widely used in mid- to high-rise buildings (6-40 floors, 20-150 meters in height) such as office towers, hotels, commercial complexes, and apartments. Its core structure consists of steel columns, beams, bracing systems, and composite floor slabs, connected by high-strength bolts or welding to form a rigid spatial framework. Known for its lightweight yet high-strength properties, rapid construction, and excellent seismic performance, it represents a modern industrialized building solution.
High Load-Bearing Efficiency
Material Performance: Utilizes high-strength steel grades like Q345B and Q420, with yield strengths of 345-420 MPa and tensile strengths ≥470-550 MPa, reducing component cross-sections and maximizing spatial efficiency.
Component Design: Standardized H-sections, box columns, and tubular members optimize stress distribution, supporting large spans (6-12 m) and high live loads (2.0-5.0 kN/m²).
Superior Seismic Performance
Ductile Design: Follows the "strong column-weak beam" and "strong joint-weak component" principles, incorporating eccentric braces (EBF) or buckling-restrained braces (BRB) to dissipate seismic energy, limiting inter-story drift to ≤1/250.
Joint Reinforcement: Beam-column joints are reinforced with stiffeners or reduced beam section (RBS) techniques to ensure safety under extreme loads.
Rapid Construction
Prefabrication: Factory-produced standardized components with precision tolerances (±2 mm/6 m), reducing on-site work and shortening project timelines by 30%-50%.
Modular Assembly: Combines high-strength bolting and welding for efficient installation, achieving 1-2 floors per day.
Sustainability
Recyclability: Over 90% steel recyclability, minimizing construction waste and aligning with circular economy principles.
Energy Efficiency: Composite floor slabs and lightweight enclosures reduce overall building energy consumption.
